The historical center of the city
The already mentioned historical center of Bardejov, which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List, is really worth seeing. The most famous is the town hall square where you will find old Gothic houses with the Basilica of St. Egídia.
Spa
Did you know, that of the most famous spas in Slovakia is located here in Bardejov? They provide various types of treatment, such as thermotherapy, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation, using a salt cave and many many more. This Spa belongs to the best in Slovakia and is often visited by foreign tourists.
Orthodox Church
The interesting Orthodox church near the city center is also worth a visit. You can recognize it from a distance by the turret with a golden roof. But unfortunately it is not possible to go inside the tower. At least as I was there it wasn’t possible.
Museum of Folk Architecture
The Museum of Folk Architecture is located in the Bardejov Spa complex. You will find 19th-century houses there. In addition, there is also one of the UNESCO wooden churches in Slovakia, which is visited from tourists from all over Slovakia.
In Bardejov, it is also worth seeing the Rough Bastion or the local calvary. So you will find a lot in this city and therefore I definitely recommend you to visit this beautiful city. Interesting places in the area include Zborov Castle or the nearby town of Stará Ľubovňa.
