Liechtenstein is a rich country. Interestingly, it is one of the few states in the world that has really no debt, and it is one of the smallest states in the world. 1. Liechtenstein has its own castle
In the capital of Liechtenstein you will find a castle called Vaduz (according to the capital city). Unfortunately, it is not open to the public as the Principality of Liechtenstein resides there and only accepts visits. The castle is well visible, however, as it is located on a hill. It belongs to the most beautiful monuments of Liechtenstein and it is definitely worth knowing.
2. Notice the empty path
One of the things that really fascinated me in Liechtenstein was local roads. They were especially interesting by cars. Why? Because there were really no. In Slovakia we are used to parking cars at every house and it is not unusual to have them in front of the house. However, here you wont’t find any of them. Each house has its underground garage where the cars are parked. This creates an empty street effect. Thanks to this brilliant mentality, cities look better. In addition to this, there are fewer people living in the countryside, so there are fewer cars on the road and sometimes the streets are almost abandoned. Well, somebody like this country may be convenient, somebody doesn’t. But it is definitely worth a visit.
3. Admire local art
Liechtenstein also has a very developed culture. Find the Museum of Modern Art in the capital city of Vaduz. In addition, you can also visit the museum of skiing or post office. Many bands come from this state. In towns, concerts are often organized and there is also a theater. So if you can appreciate art, this state certainly offers a lot.

Since Liechtenstein is only a small country and borders Austria and Switzerland, you do not have to travel a long time to visit other interesting places. I definitely recommend you to visit Switzerland, where you can see a lot.
