1. Little mermaid

The statue of the Little Mermaid is one of the most visited monuments in Copenhagen. It represents the character of a mermaid from a fairy tale by the Danish writer Hans Christian Andresen. In the Disney version, the fairy tale has a happy ending, but in the original, the sea turns into a cold sea foam, as it cannot win its prince. That is why the statue has a sad look. And by the way, the Little Mermaid is also said to be the most photographed statue in the world.

Among other things, Hans Christian Andersen also lived here, and so walking through this port, you are literally following in the footsteps of this Danish writer.
