Have you ever heard of Dinkelsbühl? Most people don’t. However, it may by considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the world. Located in Bavaria, it is characterized by colorful houses built in a typical German style.
What makes Dinkehlsbühl special?
If you happen to walk through Dinkelsbühl, but not through the center, you probably wouldn’t be interested in anything in that village. The real experience starts only when you enter the center. You can walk up and down the aisles, and indeed each one will be exceptional and beautiful. You wouldn’t notice it accidentally, but a closer examination of this place is really worth it.
Note that each house is also written the name of the services that were in it in the past or even today, for example. Metzger (butcher), Friseurin (hairdresser) or Restaurant (restaurant).
Other interesting buildings
In addition, there is also the church of St. Georgs-Kirche, a local park and if you would like to have a little walk, you can go around the entire Dinkelsbühl along the walls that border the center. Moreover, from here you will have a magnificent view of the whole village.
However, probably the most famous building in Dinkelsbühl is the Deutsches Haus (German house), which is characterized by its pink color.
Dinkelsbühl is interesting for the majority of the village visitors. As I mentioned, from the outside resembles a completely ordinary village. Most tourists do not know it at all and therefore only walks without stopping there, unaware of what they lost.
